The Director and Staff of the CSIR -STEPRI held its annual durbar and end end of year get together at the institute earlier today. The event was the maiden durbar for the Director, Dr. Mrs. Wilhemina Quaye since her elevation to the directorship. The event was used take stock for the year 2018 and also to plan for the year 2019.
Messages came from the Research Staff Association, the Senior Staff Association, Ladies Club and the TUC. Dr. George Owusu Essegbey, a chief Research Scientist and the immediate past Director shared his experinces with th staff and tasked them to keep working harder than they have ever done in order to take STEPRI to higher heights. The Director used the occassion to thank all staff for the cooperation they have accorded her since she took office and asked that it should continue since she is working with an open door policy. She urged all staff to keep working hard and to keep the team spirit glowing all through the coming year. The duebar was followed by a get toghtehr where families and friends of staff jioned mangement in celebrating a succesfull year with a grand party.
