CSIR Holds Thanksgiving Service

The Council for Scientific and Industrial Research,(CSIR Ghana) yesterday, 18th December, 2017 held a Praise and Thanksgiving Service to acknowledge God’s Blessings for how far He has brought the Council.

The service was the 3rd in succession since its inception in 2015. Rev. (Dr.) Abboah–Offei offered the opening prayer, while Sheik Nkrumah said the Muslim prayer. The EL Dunamis Mistriels and the CSIR Praise Singers were on hand to offer songs of Praise and Adoration.

The Council Chairman, Director-General, Deputy Director General; and other institutional Directors including the Director of CSIR-STEPRI, Dr. George Essegbey took turns to read Bible Lessons for the service.

The Adawso-Akwapim District Minister of the Presbyterian Church of Ghana (PCG), Rev. Silas Amponsah gave words of Advice and Thanksgiving. A prayer was said for all departed staff of CSIR by the Rev. Francis Nartey of the Calvary Baptist Church, Adenta.

The Exhortation for the service was given by Rev. Canon Anthony Eiwuley of the Anglican Church, Ghana while a Rev. (Dr.) Abboah–Offei blessed the management and staff and gave the benediction.
